A recent survey of 100 women executives found that 45% believed having children limited their jobs “somewhat,” 10% did not want to have children at all, and 8% believed their careers were greatly limited when they had children. More women are also waiting longer to have children due to career restraints.Having children is not all negative. Being a mother can provide valuable experience in dealing with difficult situations, developing skills in interpersonal communication, and learning to prioritize well and to keep problems in perspective.
