It Gets Better Project—Parent’s Edition

Huffington Post columnist Kathy Carter Woods offers advice for parents as they struggle with the difficulties involved with raising children. Inspired by Dan Savage and Terry Miller’s LGBT lifeline, the message is one of hope: things will get better. Whether the children are urinating out of their windows or simply refusing to own up to their misdeeds even after they’ve been caught, trying to raise a child into a well-behaved adult can seem like an impossible task. Woods admits that there were times in her own experience when she questioned if she had failed as a parent but she, like parents before her, eventually saw things get better.
