Hillary Clinton Speaks at Women’s Leadership Program

In June, Hillary Clinton spoke to 49 women at Wellesley College during the Women in Public Service Institute, a two-week program designed to train young women to be leaders. She spoke about politics, social change, activism, and building democracy, focusing on the contributions women make in all of these areas of social service. Clinton believes there is much progress to be made in the United States where only 17% of Congress is made up of women and only 3% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women. “I hope I live long enough to see a woman elected president of the United States,” Clinton said. “We have to keep pushing at that glass ceiling.”
