Research Shows How Women and Men Feel About International Work

Statistics in the Global Professionals on the Move report from the Hydrogen Group, a global specialist recruitment business, show women working overseas are mostly young, single, and childless. Only fifteen percent of expat women are over age forty compared with almost fifty percent of men. Ninety percent of people who have moved internationally for work would do so again and recommend it to others. Fifty percent of those already working abroad are planning to apply for permanent residency. Though there are challenges in finding jobs and housing overseas and acclimating to a new culture, many people are eager for the expat experience.
