Until male leaders make gender parity a high priority in their businesses, there will always be unconscious biases and hidden mindsets that stop women from achieving the highest levels of corporate success. Experts agree men must engage as equal partners with women and realize that gender restrictions hurt everyone. If male leaders make gender parity a priority and reinforce words with actions, then male employees have an easier time following suit and creating a more accepting business culture. If male leaders are hands-on with influencing their employees and co-workers, mentoring their subordinates, whether male or female, and dealing with bad behavior, then we may be able to create an environment of gender equality.
